Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 12 ounces boneless and skinless chicken breasts, cut into cubes


  • 3/4 tbsp soy sauce


  • 1 tbsp sweet soy sauce


  • 1 tbsp banana ketchup(for authentic taste/you may choose s desired one too)


  • 2 nos garlic cloves, minced


  • 1 inch ginger, minced


  • 1 pinch salt


  • 1 tbsp ground black pepper


  • 1/2 tbsp lemon juice


  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Directions

  • Soak the bamboo skewers for 30 minutes.
  • Marinate the chicken with the soy sauce, sweet soy sauce, banana ketchup, garlic, ginger, salt, pepper and lemon juice, for 30 minutes.
  • Stir the chicken and the sauces together, coat well.
  • Thread a few pieces of the chicken onto the bamboo skewers
  • Repeat the same until all chicken cubes are threaded
  • Heat up the oven on grill mode /use your barbecue grill
  • Brush the Olive Oil on the chicken pieces
  • Align the skewers into the oven and grill each side by turning the skewers,until crisp
  • Drizzle with a dash of lemon juice(optional )and serve hot
