Ingredients

Serves : 6
  • 200 gms paneer


  • 100 gms coconut grated powder


  • 2 tsp milk


  • 1 cups powdered sugar


  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder


  • 10 nos chopped pistachios


  • 6 nos chopped almonds


  • 1 tsp ghee optional


  • 1 tsp chopped pistachios for garnishing

Directions

  • Firstly Grate the paneer and keep aside.
  • Heat a wok and dry roast the grated coconut(75gms) slightly, take care that there is no change in colour.
  • Then add milk, paneer and sugar and cook on medium low flame until all the milk is absorbed.
  • Keep stirring frequently to avoid the milk from getting burnt.
  • You can use condensed milk also instead of milk. (in that case, you can avoid sugar)
  • Add dry nuts and cardamom powder.
  • Keep cooking on low flame for some more time until the mixture becomes sticky and you are able to make balls out of it.
  • The mixture will also leave the sides of the pan.
  • Grease your hands with a little water or ghee and make even sized balls out of it.
  • Now roll them in dry coconut powder spread on a plate.
  • Garnish with chopped pistachios.
  • Delicious Paneer laddoos are ready
