Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 1/2 kgs spongeguard


  • 1 tbsp oil


  • 1 tsp mustard seeds


  • 1/2 tsp jeera


  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1 tsp red chili powder


  • 1 tsp coriander powder


  • 1/2 tsp garam masala


  • 1 tsp jeggary chopped


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 2 nos finely chopped tomato


  • 2 tsp garlic cloves crushed

Directions

  • Wash and lightly peel off all turai or sponge guard
  • Chop vertically and keep aside
  • Heat oil in a pan and crackle mustard seeds and then jeera
  • Add all spices and then add finely chopped tomato and crushed garlic
  • Saute' till soft
  • Now add chopped sponge guard and add salt as per taste
  • Mic well and cook covered till done and soft
  • Mix and turn in between
  • Lastly add chopped coriander and serve hot immediately with soft phulkas Parathas or puri chapati and enjoy endlessly
