Ingredients

  • 1 litre milk


  • 2 tbsp lemon juice


  • 2 cups water


  • 1 1/2 cups sugar


  • 6 cups water


  • 3 nos cardamom pods

Directions

  • In a thick bottom pan take milk and boil it.
  • Add lemon juice and stir till milk curdles
  • Drain curdled milk into a muslin cloth.
  • Pour water and clean the paneer and squeeze of the water
  • Hang the kerchief for 25 mins till all the water drains out.
  • Take the paneer and kneed it till it turns smooth.
  • Make small balls of paneer and keep aside.
  • Take a deep vessel and add 1 1/2 cup of sugar, 3 cardom pods and 6 cups water boil it for about 10 min.
  • Drop prepared paneer balls to sugar syrup and cook it for about 15 min so that the balls become double the size.
  • Finall serve rasgullas with sugar syrup.
