Ingredients

Serves : 5
  • 500 gms chicken breast boneless


  • 2 tbsp for marination: olive oil


  • 1 tsp lemon juice


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 1 tbsp red chili powder


  • 1 tsp paprika


  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder


  • 1 tbsp soy sauce


  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon


  • 2 tbsp chopped cilantro


  • 1/2 tsp onion powder


  • 1 nos for platter: small red bell pepper thinly sliced


  • 1 nos small yellow bell pepper thinly sliced


  • 1 nos onion thinly sliced


  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder


  • 1/2 tsp salt


  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Directions

  • In a bowl add all ingredients mentioned under marination section and mix well
  • Thinly slice chicken breasts and add to Marination. Coat well. Refrigerate for 1 hour
  • In a skillet, heat 1 tbsp oil, saute onions for 2 minutes
  • Add bell peppers and salt. Saute until onions are tender
  • Take the bell pepper mixture outside. Add 1 tbsp oil to same pan
  • Add marinated chicken, cook for 4-5 minutes or until done
  • Add bell pepper mixture to pan. Cook for a minute. fajitas are ready
  • Chicken Fajitas can be served with tortillas or rice. If using with tortillas, add fajitas at centre, top with sour cream and cheese or salsa. Serve warm
