Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 450 gms boneless chicken cut into the bite size pieces .


  • 2 tbsp thick yoghurt


  • 2 tsp gram flour


  • 4 nos garlic cloves


  • 1 inch ginger peeled


  • 1 nos green chili


  • 1 tsp paprika


  • 1 tsp garam masala powder


  • 1 tsp roasted coriander powder


  • 1 tsp saffron


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 1 tbsp butter for brushing


  • 1 tsp chat masala powder


  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Directions

  • Add the ginger , garlic and green chilli in a grinder to a smooth paste .
  • In a mixing bowl add all the ingredients and mix well .
  • In a mixing bowl add the yogurt , masala paste , paprika , chilli powder , garam masala powder and Coriander powder .
  • Also mix in saffron and mix well making sure to coat them in the thick marinade for 10 minutes .
  • Soak wooden skewers in water .
  • Preheat the grill on medium .
  • Shake off the excess marinated and thread the chicken pieces onto the skewers and place them on a wire rack .
  • Cook under the grill for 15 minutes .
  • Turn the skewers every 5 minutes , and baste with melted butter until the juices run and they are cooked through slightly charred around the edges .
  • Serve Warm over Roti or Parathas sprinkled with chaat masala and lemon juice along with Tomato sauce .
