Ingredients
Serves 4
boneless chicken cut into the bite size pieces . 450 gms
Thick Yoghurt 2 tbsp
Gram Flour 2 tsp
Garlic Cloves 4 nos
Ginger Peeled 1 inch
Green Chili 1 nos
Paprika 1 tsp
Garam Masala Powder 1 tsp
Roasted Coriander Powder 1 tsp
Saffron 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Butter for brushing 1 tbsp
Chat Masala Powder 1 tsp
Lemon Juice 1 tsp
Directions
Add the ginger , garlic and green chilli in a grinder to a smooth paste .
In a mixing bowl add all the ingredients and mix well .
In a mixing bowl add the yogurt , masala paste , paprika , chilli powder , garam masala powder and Coriander powder .
Also mix in saffron and mix well making sure to coat them in the thick marinade for 10 minutes .
Soak wooden skewers in water .
Preheat the grill on medium .
Shake off the excess marinated and thread the chicken pieces onto the skewers and place them on a wire rack .
Cook under the grill for 15 minutes .
Turn the skewers every 5 minutes , and baste with melted butter until the juices run and they are cooked through slightly charred around the edges .
Serve Warm over Roti or Parathas sprinkled with chaat masala and lemon juice along with Tomato sauce .
