Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 6 ounces semisweet baking chocolate


  • 3 nos eggs,medium sized


  • 1/2 cups sugar


  • 6 ounces unsalted butter


  • 1/2 tsp instant coffee granules


  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon


  • 1/3 cups flour

Directions

  • To start off, preheat the oven to about 370 °F
  • Next, double boil the cooking chocolate until it melts completely
  • Then, add the sugar into a large bowl and along with it, add 3 eggs and whisk it until it begins to froth
  • Remove the cooking chocolate from the double boiler and add butter, cinnamon and the instant coffee granules
  • Mix it well till the butter melts
  • Next, slowly add the mixture to the bowl of egg and sugar. Make sure this procedure is done slowly since we wouldn't want the heat of the chocolate to cook the eggs😁
  • Add a little bit of butter to 4 ramekins
  • Next add the mixture to the ramekins and bake them for about 10 to 15 minutes
  • When the chocolate lava cakes are ready, you could sift a little bit of caster sugar on top or add a scoop of ice cream once it's served.
