Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 1 kgs chicken cut into 8-10 pieces


  • 4 tbsp beaten curd


  • 2 tsp ginger-garlic paste


  • 1 tsp edible yellow colour


  • 1 nos lemon juice


  • 100 gms roasted sesame seeds


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 2 tsp white pepper powder


  • 1 tsp black pepper powder


  • 2-3 nos onions sliced and fried


  • 1 cups mint-coriander leaves chopped


  • 1 cups milk


  • 200 ml fresh cream


  • 1 tsp haldi pwdr


  • 4-5 nos saffron strands soaked in 2 tbsp warm milk


  • 3-4 nos saffron strands for garnish


  • 2 nos bay leaves

Directions

  • Blend curd, fried onions, yellow color, lemon juice, salt, pepper pwdr,milk,cream,sesame seeds, & haldi pwdr to smooth paste.
  • marinate chicken in this mixture for 4-5 hrs
  • heat oil. add bay leaves. add ginger-garlic paste & saute for few minutes.
  • add the marinated chicken & cook on high heat for few minutes.
  • add the saffron milk mixture. cover & cook until chicken is tender.
  • add coriander-mint leaves .
  • transfer in a serving dish & garnish with remaining saffron strands.
