Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 500 gms chicken piece


  • 100 gms dried apricots


  • 2 tbsp olive oil


  • 5 nos green cardamom


  • 1 inch cinnamon stick


  • 3 nos onions,sliced


  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste


  • 2 nos tomato,chopped


  • 1 tsp red chilli paste


  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 1 tsp sugar


  • 2 tbsp molt vinegar


  • 1 cups porato salli

Directions

  • Soak the apricots in one cup of boiling water till they are soft .
  • Heat oil in a pan . Add the green cardamom and cinnamon saute till fragrant .
  • Add the onion and saute for 2 minutes .
  • Add ginger , garlic paste and continue to saute .
  • Add tomato and red chilli paste and stir constantly .
  • Now add the Chicken and fry for 2 minutes then add one cup of water , mix properly then add sugar .
  • Cover and cook till the chicken is almost done .
  • Add the apricots and simmer for 2 minutes .
  • Add the vinegar and simmer for five minutes or till the chicken completely cooked .
  • Transfer the chicken into a serving bowl and garnish with the potato salli and serve hot .
  • Serve JARDALOO SALLI MURG is Bread , Plain Rice or Chapaties are excellent accompaniment ☺️☺️
