Ingredients

Serves 4

  • chicken piece 500 gms

  • Dried Apricots 100 gms

  • Olive Oil 2 tbsp

  • Green Cardamom 5 nos

  • Cinnamon Stick 1 inch

  • Onions,sliced 3 nos

  • Ginger Garlic Paste 1 tbsp

  • Tomato,chopped 2 nos

  • Red Chilli Paste 1 tsp

  • turmeric powder 1/4 tsp

  • Salt 1 tsp

  • sugar 1 tsp

  • Molt Vinegar 2 tbsp

  • Porato salli 1 cups

Directions

    Soak the apricots in one cup of boiling water till they are soft .

    Heat oil in a pan . Add the green cardamom and cinnamon saute till fragrant .

    Add the onion and saute for 2 minutes .

  • 04

    Add ginger , garlic paste and continue to saute .

  • 05

    Add tomato and red chilli paste and stir constantly .

  • 06

    Now add the Chicken and fry for 2 minutes then add one cup of water , mix properly then add sugar .

    Cover and cook till the chicken is almost done .

    Add the apricots and simmer for 2 minutes .

    Add the vinegar and simmer for five minutes or till the chicken completely cooked .

    Transfer the chicken into a serving bowl and garnish with the potato salli and serve hot .

    Serve JARDALOO SALLI MURG is Bread , Plain Rice or Chapaties are excellent accompaniment ☺️☺️
