Ingredients

  • 500 gms chicken


  • 1 nos chopped onion


  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste


  • 1 tsp green chilly paste


  • 1 tsp pepper powder


  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1/2 tsp chilly powder


  • 2 nos chopped tomatoes


  • 2 tbsp coriander leaves


  • 2 nos cloves


  • 2 nos cardamom


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 3 tbsp refined oil

Directions

  • Marinate the chicken with ginger garlic paste, green chilly paste, salt and keep aside for an hour.
  • Heat oil in a heavy bottomed kadhai, add the bay leaf, cloves, cardamom, Cinnamon, followed by the chopped garlic.
  • Now add the chopped onion and saute till golden brown.Then add the marinated chicken and simmer.
  • Then add the powdered masalas and cook further.
  • Add the chopped tomatoes and cook till chicken is done. Add little water for gravy. Add coriander leaves and serve.
