Ingredients

  • Chicken 500 gms

  • Sliced onion 3 medium

  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp

  • Green chilly paste 1 tbsp

  • Curd 1/2 cup

  • Whole dried milk 2 tbsp

  • Cream 2 tbsp

  • Almond powder 2 tbsp

  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp

  • Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp

  • Green cardamom powder 1/2 tsp

  • Clarified butter 1 tbsp

  • Oil 1/2 cup

  • Salt 1/2 tsp

Directions

    METHOD Heat oil in a pan. Add sliced onion and fry till brown. Add chicken pieces,ginger garlic paste and stir fry for 4 - 5 mins. Add green chilly paste and mix well. Add almond paste,black pepper powder ,green cardamom powder and whole dried milk / mawa and simmer the gas and cover it. Add salt and curd and mix well. Add cream and stir fry for 2 - 3 mins. Add 1 cup of water and cover the lid for 5 - 6mins. Chicken fully done add 1 tbsp clarified butter / ghee and mix well. Serve with chapati or naan.
