Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 cups broken wheat


  • 1/4 cups chana dal


  • 1/4 cups masoor dal


  • 1/4 cups yellow moog dal


  • 3-4 tbsp urad dal


  • 3-4 nos onion


  • 1 cups thick curd


  • 2 nos lemon


  • 1 tbsp garam masala


  • 2 tbsp coriander powder


  • 2 tbsp red chili powder


  • 3-4 tbsp ginger garlic paste


  • 1 sprig mint leaves


  • 1 sprig coriander leaves


  • 1 tbsp salt to taste


  • 3-4 tbsp ghee


  • 5-6 nos green chillies


  • 1 cups oil for frying


  • 1 kgs chicken pieces

Directions

  • Soak broken wheat for 3-4 hours
  • Soak all the lentils together
  • Fry onion in oil till golden brown.
  • Pressure cook brokenwheat n lentils by adding little turmeric n salt. Take 2 whistle
  • In a big vessel add oil follwed by ginger garlic paste, saute till raw smell goes
  • Then add chicken n fry for 5 mins till colur changes.
  • Add all tbe spices and mix well
  • Add beaten curd and cook
  • Now add crushed brown onion. Keep some for later use
  • Add chopped mint, coriander leaves and salt n cook chicken till soft.
  • Mean while release the pressure from.cooker let tje broken wheat mixture cool down.
  • Once cool down grind to smootb paste. Keep aside.
  • If chicken cooks then take. Out chicken pieces and remove the bones n make small pieces of chicken.
  • Again add chicken pieces to gravy add green chillies n lemonjuice cook for 2 mins.
  • Now add broken wbeat mixture mix well.
  • On top add brown onion, coriander leaves, mint leaves, n ghee.
  • Keep on dum for 10-25 mins.
  • Serve with lemon wedges, brown onion, mint n coriander leaves.
  • Your Murgh Haleemis ready to enjoy.
