Ingredients

Serves : 8
  • 125 gm Whole wheat flour


  • 125 gm All purpose flour


  • 7 gm Active dry yeast


  • 1 tsp Sugar


  • 1 tsp Salt


  • 1 tsp Garlic powder


  • 1 tsp Pizza seasoning


  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning


  • 150 ml Water


  • 3 tbsp Refined oil


  • 1 tbsp Butter


  • 1/2 cup Caramelized onion


  • 1 Capsicum sliced large


  • 1 cup Chicken boiled with salt and vinegar and shreaded


  • 1 Cheese cube grated for topping (optional)

Directions

  • In a bowl take 50 ml warm water.
  • Add sugar and yeast.
  • Mix well and keep aside for 10 minutes. It will be foamy.
  • In a mixing bowl take flour, salt, garlic powder, oil.
  • Make a well in centre and add yeast solution.
  • Knead for 10 minutes until you get and elastic, non sticky dough.
  • Grease a loaf pan/square pan.
  • Put the dough in it. Keep aside 1 hour for 1st rise.
  • The dough will be doubled.
  • After the first rise take it out and knead for another 5 minutes.
  • Roll it a 1" thick sheet.
  • Place again in the greased baking sheet.
  • Set aside for 30 minutes for 2nd rise.
  • After that with the help of fingers make impressions on bread.
  • Top with caramelized onion, capsicum and chicken.
  • Brush with oil/butter.
  • Preheat oven 190c for 10 minutes.
  • Brush with oil/butter.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes at 190C.
  • After baking sprinkle some grated cheese over the top. It will melt with the heat if bread.
  • Brush some butter and serve extremely tasty Chicken Focaccia Bread.
