Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil


  • 2 tbsp flour


  • 2 cups chicken or vegetable broth


  • 1/4 tsp cumin powder


  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder


  • 1/4 tsp dried oregano


  • 3-4 tbsp sweet paprika(adjust)


  • 1/4 tsp salt

Directions

  • Heat oil in a pan, add flour and saute for a minute on medium heat
  • Add spice powders and oregano, mix well
  • Add chicken stock, add salt only if broth does not contain salt
  • Mix well to ensure no lumps are present
  • Simmer for about 15 minutes until it starts thickening. Allow to cool
  • Use immediately or store in airtight container. Use within a week
