beat the egg and marinate the chicken pieces with it, black pepper and 1/2 teaspoon salt
combine all purpose flour and 2 tablespoon of cornflour
heat the oil for frying in a wok
coat the marinated chicken with the flour mix well
fry the chicken till they turn crisp on Low- medium heat and take them off heat
make a slurry of water and the remaining cornflour
discard the excess oil in the wok after retaining 2 tablespoons
heat the oil and add the ginger garlic paste
sauté for 2-3 minutes
reduce heat and add in the orange zest and the juice
add brown sugar, remaining salt, cornflour slurry and soy sauce
bring it to boil and add the fried chicken
cook covered till the gravy thickens on Low heat
take off heat and garnish with green onions, sesame seeds and parsley
serve hot with rice delicacies
