Wash and clean prawns
Marinate prawns with 1/4 turmeric, 1 tsp red chilli powder and salt. Keep it aside for 30 minutes
Soak kudampulli in 1/4 cup warm water for 20 minutes
In earthen vessel, heat 2tbsp coconut oil, splutter mustard seeds
Add dry red chilli and fenugreek seeds, saute until seeds are brown
Add ginger garlic and sliced onions with 1 sprig curry leaves
Saute until onions are soft
Add remaining spice powders and mix well
Add tomatoes and saute until mushy
Add kudampulli water , 1 piece of kudampulli with 1/2 cup warm water
Bring to boil
Add marinated prawns and gently mix
Cook for 8-10 minutes until gravy reaches desired consistency
Drizzle 1 tsp coconut oil and 1 sprig curry leaves. Gently stir
Allow to sit for 15 minutes before serving
