  • 1 cups flour

  • 1 tbsp clarified butter

  • 1 tsp onion seed

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 2 cups oil

  • 1/4 cups warm water


  • In a bowl add flour,salt and onion seed .Add clarified butter and mix well.
  • Add warm water little by little and make a tight dough.
  • let it rest for 5 minutes.Take a lemon-size ball from the prepared dough.Roll into a thin circle.Then fold it to trainglura shape.Check the video above.Use a dash of water to press the fold.
  • Heat oil .Fry them in batches at medium flame until they are crispy and done.Cool and store.
