  • 1 bowls wheat flour

  • 1/2 bowls soaked urad dal

  • 1/2 bowls soaked moong dal

  • 1 tbsp salt

  • 1 tsp red chilli powder

  • 1/2 tsp hing

  • 1 tsp dhania powder

  • 1/2 tsp garam masala


  • For Bedmi first of all drain the excess water of soaked urad and moong dal.
  • Now put it in to the mixing jar by adding all the dry ingredients.
  • Blend it into a fine batter.
  • Now put this batter in to the wheat flour.
  • Knead it and make a dough.
  • If needed add little bit water to it.
  • Now make balls of the dough.
  • Make size of puris.
  • Drop the puris into the heated oil for deep fry.
  • Flip it.
  • When it turns brown and crispy transfer it on the kitchen roll so that excess of oil comes out.
  • Bedmi is ready to eat.
  • Serve Bedmi with Aloo ki subzi and mooli, gobhi ka achaar.
  • The recipe of Aloo subzi is basic.
