  • 1 cups wheat

  • 1/2 cups rice flour

  • 2 nos ripe bananas

  • 1 tsp elachi powder

  • 1/2 cups jaggery

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 350 ml oil for deep fry


  • Peel off the skin and smash bananas to smooth paste and set aside.
  • In a bowl, add wheat flour, rice flour, jaggery, salt, elachi powder , smashed bananas and mix with a blender adding required water.
  • Mix the ingredients to dosa batter consistency without lumps.
  • It should be smooth , not too thick or too runny.
  • Heat a wide pan and add oil .
  • When oil heats, drop the batter with a laddle directly into the oil.
  • Cook on both the sides over medium flame.
  • Take out of the oil , when it attains golden colour.
  • Gently squeeze out the oil by pressing it and serve hot.
