Soak tamerind in a cup of water for 1 hour
Squueeze out the pulp and discard the seeds and strain it.
Add sugar and ginger and 3 cups of water and bring it to a boil .
Keep aside for cooling .
Add crused ice and roasted cumin powder ,chat masala and serve chilled
