large mangoes preferably Alphonso 2 nos
Milk(optional) 1/4 cups
Powdered Sugar or as per the sweetness of the mangoes 1 tbsp
Saffron/Kesar Strands 5 nos
cardamom powder 1/4 tsp
Rinse the mangoes(alphonso), peel and chop them.
Put the mango pieces in a blender jar. Add powdered sugar and saffron strands.
Blend the mangoes to smooth pulp.
To thin down the aamras, add milk.(optional)
Pour in small bowls and chill in refrigerator for 15 minutes.
Garnish with saffron strands and serve it chilled.
