Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 1/2 litre milk


  • 1 tbsp sugar


  • 1/2 cups nuts


  • 2 nos saffron strands


  • 1 cups makhana or puffed lotus seeds


  • 1 tsp ghee

Directions

  • Heat milk and bring it to boil. Add sugar and let it dissolve completely.
  • In a pan take ghee and roast the makhana till they become crunchy
  • Transfer makhana into the milk and let it simmer for some time till makhana shrinks in size.
  • Add saffron and chopped nuts. Pour in a glass and garnish with grated pischios.
  • Serve hot or cold.
