Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 1 cups rice cooked rice


  • 1/4 cups thick yoghurt


  • 1 tsp oil


  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds


  • 1/4 tsp asafoetida


  • 1/4 tsp cumin seeds


  • 5 nos curry leaves

Directions

  • Add 2 cups of water into cooked rice and close it. Let it rest to ferment for 9 hours
  • Strain the fermented water, add yogurt and whisk briskly to a uniform mixture.
  • In a tempering pan heat oil and add mustard cumin seeds, Asafoetida and curry leaves.
  • After the mustard splutters add to the fermented mixture and its ready to be served.
  • A healthy drink to keep the tummy cool and beat the heat without any side effects.
