Beetroot lemonade

Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 2 nos beetroot


  • 1 nos lemon juice


  • 1 litre cold water


  • 1 tbsp black salt (you can also use normal salt)


  • 1 cups sugar(or as per taste)


  • 1 tbsp cumin seeds powder


  • 1 tsp finely chopped coriander leaves


  • 16 nos ice cubes /as per required

Directions

  • Cut the beetroot in pieces
  • Boil the pieces for 5 minutes on high flame
  • After 5 minutes grind the pieces in a mixer jar and make a fine paste
  • Pour the paste into a jug
  • Add cold water and lemon juice
  • Roste cumin seeds in a pan when it cracks, off the gas and make a fine powder. Add the powder on the jug
  • Add black salt mix it well
  • Now add a cup of sugar mix untill the sugar dissolves
  • Pour the mixture into the glasses and add ice cubes as per required
  • At last add finely chopped coriander leaves. Serve chilled
