Ingredients

Serves 4

  • beetroot 2 nos

  • Lemon Juice 1 nos

  • Cold Water 1 litre

  • black salt (you can also use normal salt) 1 tbsp

  • sugar(or as per taste) 1 cups

  • cumin seeds powder 1 tbsp

  • finely chopped coriander leaves 1 tsp

  • Ice cubes /as per required 16 nos

Directions

    Cut the beetroot in pieces

  • 02

    Boil the pieces for 5 minutes on high flame

  • 03

    After 5 minutes grind the pieces in a mixer jar and make a fine paste

  • 04

    Pour the paste into a jug

  • 05

    Add cold water and lemon juice

  • 06

    Roste cumin seeds in a pan when it cracks, off the gas and make a fine powder. Add the powder on the jug

    Add black salt mix it well

  • 08

    Now add a cup of sugar mix untill the sugar dissolves

  • 09

    Pour the mixture into the glasses and add ice cubes as per required

  • 10

    At last add finely chopped coriander leaves. Serve chilled
