Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 cups coconut grated


  • 6 nos cloves


  • 1 inch cinnamon stick


  • 1/2 inch ginger


  • 1 nos garlic,whole


  • 3 nos tomato


  • 1/4 cups tamarind(as required)


  • 1 tsp salt(as required)


  • 3 tsp chilly powder


  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder


  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1/4 tsp mustard


  • 1 sprig curry leaves


  • 20 ml oil


  • 1 nos onion


  • 1 sprig coriander leaves


  • 500 gms elephant foot yam

Directions

  • grind coconut +ginger +garlic +cinnamon +cloves+onion +tomato +coriander leaves =grind it again add coriander powder,chilly powder to a fine paste
  • pour oil in kadai + mustard +curry leaves +elephant foot yam +salt+turmeric powders=fry+prepared masala =cook until its done
  • elephant foot yam must be cooked for 10mins in water and strain it and keep it
  • this can be enjoyed with rice,roti,dosa.
  • this recipe is very healthy for hypertension,dysentery,piles,muscle spasms,PMS,diabetic.
  • This tubers are very healthy please try to prepare and eat once in a week
