  • Rice 1 bowls

  • Milk 1 litre

  • Condensed milk 1 cups

  • Sugar 1/2 cups

  • Kesar Strands 5 nos

  • Cardamom Powder 1 tsp

    Boil rice in a pan or pressure cook it.Grind the rice with little water or milk. Don’t grind too thick like a paste.

    Just give one or two churn in mixture.

    On a low flame heat the milk. Add the ground rice to the hot milk and keep stirring. Check there should not be any lump. Add the saffron and cardamom powder.

    Add the condensed milk and stir well. Add the sugar to payasam. Give it a boil and let the Paysam get will thicken.

    Keep stirring to avoid the paysam sticking to bottom. Once you get the required consistency.

    Turn off the heat. Let it cool down and keep it refrigerated for couple of hours.Garnish the paysam with nuts before serving.
