Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 1 cups nannari roots


  • 2 cups sugar


  • 4 cups water


  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice


  • 4 tbsp for juice - sarbath


  • 1 tbsp lemon juice or to taste


  • 500 ml cold water


  • 1 cups ice cubes


  • 2 nos mint sprigs


  • 2 nos lime slices

Directions

  • Take nannari roots and bash them and remove the center part. 
  • Grind it in a blender and soak in cold water overnight.
  • Next morning drain the water and take it in a pot.
  • Add sugar and bring it to a boil.
  • Boil on medium flame for 25 minutes till syrupy.
  • Cool this and add the lemon juice, mix well and store it in a air tight bottle.
  • For making juice, take some syrup in a cup, add lemon juice, add cold water and ice cubes, garnish with lime slice and mint sprig and serve.
  • You can store the syrup in fridge for many months.
