Ingredients

Serves : 8
  • 1 litre milk


  • 2 tbsp grated bottle gourd


  • 1 tsp ghee


  • 2 tbsp thandai powder


  • 100 gms condensed milk


  • 100 gms heavy cream


  • 3 tbsp sugar


  • 1/2 cups small mango pieces

Directions

  • First heat ghee in a pan. Now add grated bottle gourd in ghee to roast. Keep sauting till raw aroma of bottle gourd disappears.
  • Now add milk in it to boil. When it starts boiling simmer the flame.
  • Add condensed milk , cream and sugar in the milk.
  • Keep stirring at low flame. When milk starts to thicken add thandai powder. Stir nicely and switch off the flame.Let it cool down properly.
  • Now add mango pieces on popsicle moulds. Pour cool down bottle gourd thandai mixture in the popsicles.
  • Let these popsicles freeze for atleast for 8 hours. So that popsicles become firm and fix with sticks nicely.
  • To demould dip popsicles in normal water for 5 seconds. It will easily come out of moulds.
  • Yummy and healthy popsicles are ready to relish.
