  • Milk 11 /2 litre

  • Cornflour 2 tbsp

  • Milk Powder 4 tbsp

  • G M S Powder 2 tbsp

  • Stablizere 1/4 tsp

  • Sugar 8 tbsp

  • Butterscotch Syrup 3 tbsp

  • Butterscotch Essence 1 tsp

  • threads of saffron soaked in 1tbsp warm milk 6-7 nos

  • Praline 3/4 cups

    Butterscotch Ice-Cream! Loved by kids and adults alike, this rich ice-cream has a mellow flavour balanced wonderfully by the sweet crunch of the crushed praline. The praline, made with cashews and sugar, gives a delectable texture and rich flavour to the ice-cream

    Mix cornflour ,milk powder, g.m.s & stablizer in 1 cup cold milk keep asideBoil 1 ltr milk in a heavy bottom pan ..after the 1st boil put on low flame

    Now add the cornflour paste n sugar n keep stirring contiuously to avoid getting lumps ..add safron or colour.

    Boil for 4-5 mins.Remove from fire n cool ..freeze it for 3-4 hours..

    Take the mixture an beat it well with a beater..till it is fluffy n smooth..

    Now add the essence and butterscotch syrup beat again for few mins..

    Pour the mixture in a setting bowl add the crushed praline stir it slightly and freeze it for 5_6 hours .Serve chilled.

    #Method_for_praline1/4 cup sugar1/4 cup blenched almonds or kajulittle oilput the sugar in a heavy bottom pan ..cook on a low flamestirring contiuously till the sugar dissolves and turns golden brown

    Now add nuts and mix wellgreese a plate with oil and spread the sugar syrup and leave it to set ..crush praline and mix into icecream.
