Ingredients

Serves : 8
  • 2 tbsp jeera,heaped


  • 1 tbsp poppy seeds,heaped


  • 1 tbsp saunf,heaped


  • 1 tbsp melon seeds,heaped


  • 1 tbsp whole black pepper,heaped


  • 15 nos almonds


  • 15 nos green cardamom


  • 750 gms sugar


  • 750 ml water


  • 5-8 nos few rose petals (of 4 roses approximately )

Directions

  • Coarsely grind all dry ingredients except sugar and rose petals
  • Heat water in heavy bottom pan
  • add sugar and rose petals in it
  • add coarsely grind mixture
  • Let it boil 4 to 5 times
  • switch off the gas
  • let it cool and rest for 6 to 8 hours
  • resting is done so that all the flavours are properly in fused
  • strain through the strainer
  • store in bottles
  • stays best for month if stored in fridge
  • No artificial colours ,flavours or preservatives are added to this recipe
