Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 6-7 tamarind


  • 1 tsp besan or gram flour


  • 1 green chilly


  • 1tsp jaggery


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 4-5 curry leaves


  • 1-2 garlic clove chopped


  • 1tsp mustard seeds

Directions

  • Soak tamarind overnight and drain the juice in a bowl
  • In some oil add mustard seeds and let them crackle, chopped chilly, garlic cloves and curry leaves
  • Add some water in besan and whisk it to avoid lump. it should be runny and smooth.
  • Add tamarind water and jaggery in the pan. add salt and stir it well
  • Add the besan and stirr continuosly to avoid lump formation
  • Add water as desired and serve chilled/ hot
