Ingredients

Serves : 5
  • 1/4 cups for thandai masala:almond


  • 1/4 cups pistachio


  • 1 tbsp cardamom


  • 1/4 cups cashewnut


  • 2 tbsp fennel seeds


  • 2 tbsp black pepper


  • 5 cups other ingredients:milk


  • 4 tbsp sugar or according to taste


  • 1/2 tbsp saffron strands


  • 1 tbsp fresh or dry rose petals

Directions

  • Making thandai masala :-
  • Mix all ingredients mention in thandai masala and blend to a smooth powder.
  • Making thandai:-
  • In a pan add milk and sugar.
  • Bring it to a boil .
  • Add thandai powder.
  • Mix well and boil it for 5 minutes
  • Off the flame.
  • Cool the thandai to room temperature.
  • Sieve it through a siever.
  • Refrigerate for 1-2 hours.
  • Once it is chilled,pour it into glasses.
  • Top with some saffron strands, chopped pistachio and rose petals.
  • Serve chilled
