Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • 1/2 cups ragi flour


  • 4 cups water


  • 1 cups curd or buttermilk


  • 10 nos shallots


  • 1/2 tsp salt to taste

Directions

  • Boil water in a heavy bottom bowl. Meanwhile take ragi powder and mix in little water without any lumps.
  • Add the ragi paste into the boiling water. Boil the ragi mixture till it's done. Ragi koozh will be ready within 5 minutes. Let it cool and keep it aside.
  • Beat the curd well with a spoon or fork and mix it in the cooled ragi mixture.
  • Add salt to taste and add chopped shallots.
  • Simple, healthy summer thirst quencher is ready within few minutes.
