Ingredients

Serves 10

  • Sugar 5 cups

  • water 2 1/2 cups

  • Almonds 100 gms

  • fennel seeds 50 gms

  • Black pepper powder 1 tsp

  • Poppy seeds 50 gms

  • pumkin seeds 50 gms

  • cardamom (skin peeled off, use only seeds) 30-35 nos

  • Rose water 2 tbsp

Directions

    Clean the fennel seeds, black pepper, Almonds, Pumkin seeds,cardimum seeds & poppy seeds

  • 02

    Wash each of the ingredents and soak in water for 1hrs or overnight.

    Remove the exesse water from each ingredient. Remove the almond skin.

    In a blender blend all the ingredients. While blending instead of water use sugar mixed in water

    Using a strainer strain the smooth mixture. If there are particles then blend those particles and strain again.

    Thandai is now ready. You can store the thandai in the refrigerator in a airtight container for more than a month

  • 07

    Whenever you want to drink it. take 2tbsp of thandai mixture in a serving bowl,add few ice cubes and milk.

    Garnish with saffron,chopped almonds & enjoy the chilled thandai
