Imli Pulp 1/2 cups
Water 2 1/2 cups
Black Salt 1/8 tsp
Pomegranate powder/Anardana powder 1/8 tsp
Sugar 2 tbsp
chat masala 1 tsp
Panipuri Masala 1/8 tsp
Mint Leaves 7-8 nos
Mix in all the ingredients except the last three in the list. Allow it to come to a rolling boil.
Simmer on low flame after it boils for a further 3 to 4 minutes.
The raw smell of the tamarind should disappear. Fill up the popsicle moulds when it cools down after adding the last 3 ingredients mentioned in the list.
Enjoy these different ice lollies that taste so refreshing with your family and friends.
Freeze for a good 5 to 6 hours atleast for better results
An awesome touch given to the khatti meethi imli in the shape of ice lollies by me. It is an easy peasy recipe for the kids and the adults alike. My innovative recipe with just a few staple ingredients.
These can be made as an another lovely twist by using khatti meethi imli chutney too. They taste just as fabulous as these. Happy Summers !!!!!
