Ingredients

  • almonds 25 nos

  • poppy seeds 2 tsp

  • munakka deseeded 2 tbsp

  • fennel seeds 2 tbsp

  • black pepper powder 1/4 tsp

  • melon seeds(kharbuje ki meengi) 4 tsp

  • cardamoms 2 nos

  • full cream milk 1 cups

  • ice crushed 1 cups

  • milkmaid sweetened condensed milk 1 tbsp

  • sugar or as per the taste 2 tbsp

  • fresh rose petals 50 gms

  • rose essence 2 drop

  • rose syrup 1 tsp

  • pistachios chopped for the garnish 1 tsp

  • fresh rose petals for the garnish 8-10 nos

Directions

    Soak almonds, poppy seeds, fennel seeds, munnakka, melon seeds, rose petals in 1 glass of water overnight.

    Peel the almonds and grind all the soaked ingredients together to make a fine paste.

    Now add milk, milkmaid, pepper, sugar and cardamom powder and pulse again in a blender until everything gets mixed and grinded very well.

    Add water if the consistency is too thick.

    Add rose essence and rose syrup and stir

  • 06

    Garnish with rose petals and chopped pistachios and serve chilled with crushed ice.
