Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 25 nos almonds


  • 2 tsp poppy seeds


  • 2 tbsp munakka deseeded


  • 2 tbsp fennel seeds


  • 1/4 tsp black pepper powder


  • 4 tsp melon seeds(kharbuje ki meengi)


  • 2 nos cardamoms


  • 1 cups full cream milk


  • 1 cups ice crushed


  • 1 tbsp milkmaid sweetened condensed milk


  • 2 tbsp sugar or as per the taste


  • 50 gms fresh rose petals


  • 2 drop rose essence


  • 1 tsp rose syrup


  • 1 tsp pistachios chopped for the garnish


  • 8-10 nos fresh rose petals for the garnish

Directions

  • Soak almonds, poppy seeds, fennel seeds, munnakka, melon seeds, rose petals in 1 glass of water overnight.
  • Peel the almonds and grind all the soaked ingredients together to make a fine paste.
  • Now add milk, milkmaid, pepper, sugar and cardamom powder and pulse again in a blender until everything gets mixed and grinded very well.
  • Add water if the consistency is too thick.
  • Add rose essence and rose syrup and stir
  • Garnish with rose petals and chopped pistachios and serve chilled with crushed ice.
