Ingredients

Serves 4

  • goat meat cut in pieces 1 1/4 kgs

  • chopped medium onion 1 nos

  • garlic clove 4-5 nos

  • chopped ginger 2 tbsp

  • paprika 1 tbsp

  • bay leaf 1 nos

  • Maggi or bouillon granules 1 tbsp

  • onion chopped whites and green parts 2 nos

  • basil 1/4 cups

  • parsley 1/4 cups

  • Scotch bonnet or habanera pepper 3 nos

  • Salt and white pepper to taste 1 tsp

Directions

    Place all the spices in the blender or food processor. Pulse until everything is puree

  • 02

    Add to the pot of goat, add water about 7-8 cups of water. Bring to a boil and simmer until goat is tender. Discard bay leaf, add water if necessary. Add plantains , cook for about 20 more minutes or more

  • 03

    Adjust for seasonings and thickness. Serve warm.
