Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • For mutton balls, 500 grm mutton minced


  • 50 grm roasted chana dal


  • 1 green chillies chopped


  • 2 red whole chilli


  • 1/2 tsp garam masala


  • 4 to 6 black pepper corns


  • 5 to 6 chopped garlic


  • 1/2 inch ginger chopped


  • 2 tbsp chopped corriender


  • 3 to 4 cloves


  • 1 tsp cumin seeds


  • 1 tbsp roasted sesame seeds


  • 1/2 piece mace


  • 1 black cardamom seeds


  • For Gravy, 1/2 cup fresh methi


  • 1 tbsp kasturi methi


  • 1 cup curd


  • 1/2 cup milk


  • 1/4 cup fresh cream


  • 1/4 cup cheese


  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder


  • 4 to 6 garlic cloves chopped


  • 2 green chillies nicely chopped


  • 2 tsp salt or as per taste


  • 2 tbsp oil for cooking

Directions

  • First take mutton mince in a mixer jar, add salt and other mutton balls ingredients in it and dry grind it till smooth and creame,not to add water
  • Once done make the balls of all mixture and keep aside
  • Now boiled the fresh methi with water and keep aside in cold water
  • Now heat oil in pan add chopped garlic and chopped green chillies and saute for 10 to 12 seconds
  • Now add boiled methi in it
  • Whisked curd and add this in methi mixture now continue stir it till boil
  • Once boiled add salt and mutton balls in it, cover it and cook it for 12 to 15 minutes or till balls completely cook
  • Add milk,cream,black pepper powder in a bowl
  • Now add this in mutton balls mixture, stir continue and again cook for 4 to 5 minutes
  • When all done Finally add dry kasturi methi and cheese in this mixture
  • And cook till cheese completely desolved
  • Now Kasturi Methi Kofta is ready to serve
  • Serve hot for more taste,serve with naan or kulcha or chappati
