Ingredients

Serves 3

  • Mutton 500 gms

  • Onion Cut in Slice 200 gms

  • Garlic Paste 1 tsp

  • Ginger Paste 1 tsp

  • Cinnamon Stick 1 nos

  • Bay Leaves 2 nos

  • Black Cardamom 2 nos

  • Cloves 4 nos

  • Black Pepper 8-10 nos

  • turmeric powder 1/4 tsp

  • Red Chilli Powder 1 1/4 tsp

  • Coriander Powder 1 tsp

  • Red Chilli,whole 2-3 nos

  • Whole Coriander Seeds 1 tsp

  • Yoghurt 3/4 cups

  • Salt or as per taste 1 tsp

  • Oil for Cooking 3 tbsp

  • Fresh Chopped Coriander Leaves 1 tbsp

Directions

    Heat oil in a pan,add cinnamon,bay leaves, black pepper, cloves and cardamom in it

    Now add sliced onion and fry till translucent in colour

  • 03

    Once onion colour change add washed mutton pieces in it

  • 04

    Now add ginger, garlic paste in it

  • 05

    Add turmeric powder and stir

  • 06

    Now add salt, corriender and red chilli powder in it and mix

    Add some water and cover it to cook for 12-15 minutes, meanwhile stir it

    Other side roast corriender seeds and whole red chillies in a pan untill smell comes

    When done transfer in the mortar and pound it

    Other side when relased oil from mutton add whisked curd and mix

  • 11

    Now add pound corriender and red chilli (reserve some) in this and mix it and if need add little amount of water in it and again cook for 3 to 4 minutes,

    Finally add fresh chopped corriender leaves mix

  • 13

    At time to serve garnish with fresh corriender leaves and sprinkle some pound corriender and red chilli over the top

  • 14

    Serve hot with plain rice or chappati for more taste
