Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • 230 gms chevon minced meat


  • 2 tbsp oil


  • 1 tsp fennel seeds


  • 1 tsp cumin seeds


  • 1 nos cinnamon stick


  • 2 nos cardamom


  • 2 nos cloves


  • 1 nos bay leaf


  • 1 nos onion,finely sliced


  • 1 nos green chillies


  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste


  • 1 nos tomato chopped


  • 1/2 tbsp red chili powder


  • 1 tbsp coriander powder


  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder


  • 1/2 tsp garam masala


  • 1/2 tsp meat masala


  • 1 nos big potato peeled and cubed


  • 1 tsp salt to taste


  • 3 tbsp chopped coriander leaves

Directions

  • Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add whole spices and roast until aromatic
  • Add in onions and saute until golden brown
  • Add ginger garlic paste, green chillies and saute until raw aroma goes away
  • Add mutton and saute until well browned
  • Add tomatoes and saute until tender
  • Add spice powders and mix well. Add potato and mix
  • Add little water and cook for 3 whistles. Lower heat and simmer for 5-6 minutes. Switch off
  • Once steam goes off, add corriander leaves and mix. Serve hot with roti/naan
