Ingredients
Serves 4
Spaghetti Noodles Packet 1 nos
Parmesan Cheese 50 gms
Yellow Bell Pepper 1 nos
Red Bell pepper 1 nos
Mint for Garnish 2 sprig
Oil 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste 1/4 tsp
Water 5 cups
For Marinara Sauce for 4:Olive Oil 2 tbsp
White Onion 1 nos
Garlic Cloves,chopped 2 nos
Mixed Italian Herbs 1 tsp
Tomatoes,diced 1 nos
Tomato Puree Can 1 nos
Water 1 cups
For Meatballs for 4:Minced meat 400 gms
Egg 1 nos
Bread crumbs 1/4 cups
Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
Onion chopped 1 nos
Parmesan cheese 1/4 cups
Curry leaves 2 sprig
green chillies 2 nos
turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste 1/2 tsp
Oil for frying 1/4 litre
Directions
To make Marinara sauce, take a large sauce pan and heat oil on a medium flame. Add chopped onion and garlic and saute well for two minutes.
Add mixed herbs, salt, diced tomatoes and salt to taste. Stir for a minute. Add water and mix well. Bring to a gentle boil over medium - high heat and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes stirring occasionally. Cover it and cook till it's done.
For making Meatballs, take a bowl and mix all the meatball ingredients and mix it in a fork or hand to blend all the ingredients combined well,without over mixing.
Apply little oil in palm and make small round balls out of the meat mixture. Fry in medium hot oil till and keep it aside.
For making Spaghetti noodles, boil 5 cups of water with little salt and oil. Add Spaghetti noodles to it for boil for few minutes till it's partially cooked. Drain in a colander and wash the noodles on running cold water to avoid sticking to each other.
For assembly.. Add fried meatballs in Marinara sauce before serving. Garnish Spaghetti noodles with red, yellow pepper and mint leaves. Add grated Parmesan cheese on top of the noodles and on meatballs in sauce.Enjoy fusion Spaghetti and Meatballs in Marinara sauce.
