Ingredients

Serves 4

  • To cook Mutton Mutton 1/2 kgs

  • Ghee 8 tbsp

  • Oil 4 tbsp

  • turmeric powder 1/2 tbsp

  • For Masala : Red chilli or Kashmir chilli - 10 6-7 nos

  • Coriander seeds 1 tbsp

  • Cumin seeds 2 tbsp

  • Fennel seeds 1 tbsp

  • Pepper corn 1 tbsp

  • Cloves 3 nos

  • Cinnamon 1 nos

  • Star anise 1 nos

  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp

  • For final preperation : Shallots 10 nos

  • tomato 1/2 nos

Directions

    Heat a cooker pan.Add ghee and oil let it heat up , to this add the spices and ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp.Saute to smell the flavor.

    To this add the mutton and add immersable amount of water.Let it cook for 7 whistle.

    Open the cooker once it's completely cooled.

    Meanwhile heat a pan .Bring in all the Masala ingredients and dry roast them.

    Now once they are dry roasted , see to that they don't get burnt.

    Take this to a food processor and to that add ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp and very little water.Make smooth paste.

    Heat a pan and add ghee to this add shallots sliced , tomato sliced saute them to cook . To this add the Masala paste and the mutton broth.

    Mix them well and wait for the ghee to separate.To this add the cooked Mutton and mix well.

    Cook for 5-7 minutes in slow flame .Then add chopped coriander and serve hot.
