Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 500 gms mutton


  • 2 tsp ginger garlic paste


  • 1 tsp turmeric powder


  • 2 nos onion


  • 2 nos tomato


  • 1 inch cinnamon


  • 1 nos clove


  • 1 nos green chilli


  • 4 tsp oil


  • 3 tsp chilli powder


  • 4 tsp coriander powder


  • 2 tsp salt


  • 400 ml water


  • 1/2 tsp fennel seeds powder


  • 1 tsp garam masala


  • 2 sprig curry leaves


  • 1/2 cups coriander leaves


  • 4 tsp coconut paste

Directions

  • Cook Mutton in the cooker with 1 spoon gg paste and turmeric powder for 10 minutes in medium flame.
  • Open the cooker after 10 minutes.
  • Put a kadai on the stove.
  • Add oil when it is hot.
  • Add cinnamon and clove to the hot oil.
  • When it splutters add finely chopped onions, green chilli and tomatoes one by one.
  • Saute for 5 minutes.
  • Add gg paste and saute for 2 more minutes.
  • Add fennel seeds powder.
  • Now add cooked Mutton.
  • Add chilli powder, Coriander powder, garam masala, curry leaves and salt.
  • Close the kadai and cook the Mutton for 10 minutes.
  • Cook until it attains gravy consistency.
  • Add coconut paste.
  • Allow it to boil for 2 minutes.
  • Switch off the stove.
  • Transfer it into a bowl.
  • Garnish it with coriander leaves.
