Ingredients

Serves : 6
  • 500 gms mutton


  • 1 tsp ginger paste


  • 2 tsp garlic paste


  • 4 nos onion big size


  • 1 tsp red chilli powder


  • 3 tsp coriander powder


  • 1.5 tsp salt


  • 3 nos green cardamom


  • 3 nos laung


  • 1 nos cinnamon stick


  • 1 nos bay leaf


  • 1 tsp garam masala powder


  • 5 tbsp mustard oil


  • 1/2 tsp haldi powder


  • 2 nos tomato


  • 1 tbsp coriander leaves chopped


  • 250 gms lauki cut into big pieces

Directions

  • heat oilfry Lauki piece and take it out
  • Add whole Garam masala. slice one onion and add in the oil
  • when onion is slightly brown at the ginger garlic paste and the mutton pieces
  • Saute the mutton pieces on high heat and cook for 5...8 minutes till it changes colour
  • Grind the left 3 onions
  • Add all the powder masala and add in mutton
  • Add 2cup water
  • Pressure cook on high heat for 2whistle and cook on low heat for 20 minutes
  • Open the pressure cooker
  • If mutton is a little soft add in chopped tomato
  • Saute till it leaves oil
  • Add 1.5cup water to form a gravy
  • Add fried Lauki pieces Cook on slow heat covered with chopped coriander leaves for at least 15minutes
  • Sprinkle a little Garam masala powder Serve hot with pulao
