Ingredients

Serves 6

  • mutton 500 gms

  • ginger paste 1 tsp

  • garlic paste 2 tsp

  • onion big size 4 nos

  • red chilli powder 1 tsp

  • coriander powder 3 tsp

  • salt 1.5 tsp

  • Green Cardamom 3 nos

  • Laung 3 nos

  • cinnamon stick 1 nos

  • bay leaf 1 nos

  • Garam masala powder 1 tsp

  • mustard oil 5 tbsp

  • haldi powder 1/2 tsp

  • tomato 2 nos

  • Coriander leaves chopped 1 tbsp

  • Lauki cut into big pieces 250 gms

Directions

    heat oilfry Lauki piece and take it out

  • 02

    Add whole Garam masala. slice one onion and add in the oil

  • 03

    when onion is slightly brown at the ginger garlic paste and the mutton pieces

  • 04

    Saute the mutton pieces on high heat and cook for 5...8 minutes till it changes colour

    Grind the left 3 onions

  • 06

    Add all the powder masala and add in mutton

  • 07

    Add 2cup water

  • 08

    Pressure cook on high heat for 2whistle and cook on low heat for 20 minutes

    Open the pressure cooker

  • 10

    If mutton is a little soft add in chopped tomato

  • 11

    Saute till it leaves oil

  • 12

    Add 1.5cup water to form a gravy

  • 13

    Add fried Lauki pieces Cook on slow heat covered with chopped coriander leaves for at least 15minutes

  • 14

    Sprinkle a little Garam masala powder Serve hot with pulao
