Masala mutton chops

  • 500 gms mutton chops

  • 1 tsp mix khada masala

  • 4 tbsp oil

  • 2 nos onion paste of

  • 2 nos tomatoes paste of

  • 1 tsp ginger garlic chilli paste

  • 2 tsp turmeric powder

  • 4 tsp red chilli powder

  • 4 tsp coriander powder

  • 1 tsp aamchur pwd

  • 1/2 tsp garam masala


  • Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pressure cooker
  • Add all Khada masalas.
  • Stir in the onion paste
  • Saute onion paste till golden.
  • Add salt and ggc paste
  • Add one portion of turmeric powder coriander powder red chilli powder
  • Add Tomato paste
  • Add mutton
  • Roast this mixture on high flame till aroma rises and Oil traces are found in sides of cooker.
  • Add water and pressure cook for for 2 whistles on high flame and slower for 5 mins.(This step depends on quality of goat meat but this usually goes for normal mutton)
  • Once pressure is realeases check if mutton is tender or not.
  • In heavy bottomed pan add oil, mutton, remaining masalas portions and aamchur pwd together.
  • Saute till all masalas well coat
  • Check salt and serve hot
