Ingredients

Serves 4

  • Mutton 1 kgs

  • Oil 6 tbsp

  • Whole Black Cardamom 4 nos

  • Cloves 4 nos

  • Red Chilli Powder 3 tbsp

  • turmeric powder 1/4 tbsp

  • Curd 10 tbsp

  • Cinnamon Stick 1-2 piece

  • Fennel Powder 2 tbsp

  • Bay Leaf 2 nos

  • White Cumin Powder 2 tbsp

  • Black Cumin Powder 1/2 tbsp

  • Black Cardamom Powder 1/2 tbsp

  • Green cardamom powder 1/2 tbsp

  • Salt 1-2 tbsp

Directions

    For frying take Oil in a Pan. Add Mutton when Oil is hot. Fry mutton properly untill it becomes Golden brown in colour.

    In other container...Take 3 tbsp oil... In oil add 3 tbsp Red chilli powder... 1/4 tbsp turmeric powder... 10 tbsp curd... Mix these spices and curd properly.

    Add Fried Mutton to this mixture and mix properly.

    Now Add :- 4 Whole Balck Cardamom... 4 Cloves...2 tbsp Fennel Powder... 3 pieces of cinnamon stick...2 crushed Bay leaf... 2 tbsp White cumin powder... 1/2 tbsp Black cumin powder...1/2 tbsp Black Cardamom powder... 1/2 tbsp Green Cardamom powder... Mix these spices with mutton properly.

    Add 5 Glasses of water... Add Salt according to taste.

    Cover the container on high flame untill the mutton is softened. It will usually take 15-20 minutes on high flame. After 20 minutes our Kashmiri Mutton Rogan Josh is ready..
