Ingredients

Serves : 8
  • 800 gms pineapple chopped in medium size


  • 1 1/4 cups sugar


  • 1/4 tsp lemon juice


  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg powder (optional)

Directions

  • Chop pineapple into medium size pieces.
  • In a grinder jar grind pineapple until puree.
  • Add puree into a preheated pan.
  • Add sugar mix well and simmer.
  • At first there will be foam on top.
  • Keep stiring till puree is turning thick.
  • Check the consistency by dropping with spatula if looks runny simmer again.
  • Once done add lemon juice and stir for 2-3 minutes.
  • When cool down transfer this Jam in cleaned Jar.
  • Note:- Jam stays well in refrigerator for 4to5 months.
  • Adjust sugar according to your taste and the sweetness of the pineapple.
