Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 650 gms lamb


  • 2 tsp salt


  • 1-1/2 tsp black pepper powder


  • 10-12 nos green chilies


  • 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste


  • 2-3 tsp oil


  • 1-2 nos sliced garlic cloves


  • 1 tsp asafoetida


  • 1-1/2 tsp kashmiri mirch powder

Directions

  • Mix Salt,Black Pepper Powder,Green Chilies,Ginger Garlic Paste and Oil.
  • Marinate lamb with this mix and keep this for 6-8 hours minimum in a refrigerator.
  • For tempering - heat oil, add sliced garlic, asafoetida, kashmiri mirch powder and the marinated meat.
  • Sauté well and sear all the pieces for about 7-10 minutes on high flame.
  • Meanwhile, preheat oven at +220C and keep the seared mutton in oven, covered with foil for at least 35-40 minutes.
  • Remove foil and let cook at +180C for another 8-10 minutes, and your delicious snacky Roast is ready.
