Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 kgs lamb riblets


  • 1/2 cups brown sugar


  • 1/2 cups tomato ketchup


  • 1/2 cups dark soy sauce


  • 1/2 cups light soy sauce


  • 2 tbsp fish sauce


  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce


  • 1 nos star anise


  • 2 nos garlic cloves


  • 2 nos ginger slices(fresh)


  • 1 nos red chili,roughly,chopped

Directions

  • Clean and Wash the riblets and keep aside.
  • Pre-heat the oven and grill to 200°c.
  • Combine all the ingredients for the marinade in a small saucepan .
  • Simmer this for 10 minutes until it’s reduced slightly.
  • Place the lamb riblets on a roasting rack over a roasting tray and brush liberally with the marinade.
  • Place the riblets in the oven and allow to cook for 30-45 minutes.
  • In between,turn the riblets in an interval of 7-10 minutes,also brush the remaining marinade too.
  • When the riblets are cooked, serve them with chips/potato wedges and salad.
