Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 200 gms mutton kheema


  • 2 nos sliced onion


  • 2 tsp ginger garlic paste


  • 1 tsp red chilly powder


  • 1/2 tsp garam masala powder


  • 2 tbsp yoghurt


  • 3 tbsp coriander leaves - (chopped)


  • 2 tsp salt


  • 4 tbsp ghee


  • 1 cups basmati rice


  • 2 nos elaichi


  • 4 nos cloves


  • 1 inch cinnamon


  • 1 nos star anise


  • 1 nos tej patta

Directions

  • Take a kadhai, add ghee/oil followed by the whole garam masalas. Add the sliced onions and fry till golden brown.
  • Add the ginger garlic paste followed by the powdered masalas. add the kheema and salt and cook till almost done.
  • While this is cooking, par boil the rice. Add curd to the kheema and cook further till it leaves oil.
  • Now layer the strained rice on the kheema. Sprinkle little ghee on top, coriander leaves and fried onions.
  • Close the lid and cook on low flame for just 15 minutes. Serve.
